Promoting Health and Wellness in the Birmingham-Metro Area

B-INCLUDED is a movement with a mission to build a community of individuals ready to take control of their health and future

We’re here to support you

B-INCLUDED addresses healthcare needs and subsequently educational, employment, and financial gaps so that metro-Birmingham area residents can work towards improved health.

Our vision is to transform Birmingham by creating a more prosperous and equitable future. Our community is built on the shared stories of our members and other community members living, working, and playing in Birmingham.

Why Now?

Did you know that:

  • 51% of Jefferson County residents are minorities?
  • 77% of low-income and impoverished Jefferson County residents are minorities?
  • 59% of Jefferson County’s years of life lost prematurely came from minority residents?

There’s no better time for Black communities to have and claim a space of their own. The longevity of Black communities depends on a collective of people who are focused on improved health, overall wellness, and elevated financial practices. B-INCLUDED is that space and you can become part of that collective.
