Event Takeways

  • Surveyed that the most common diagnosis was Crohn’s followed by ulcerative colitis
  • Of the people in attendance, we found that the top 3 barriers in their diagnosis are feeling like they’re missing out on life experiences, finding the right doctor, and feeling unheard by doctors
  • The pathway between IBD and colorectal cancer is very underdiscussed
  • We were able to discuss if people knew what clinical research was, if they’d participate, and if not, why not
