  • The event was held at a K-8 Academy, tailored to middle/high school age group and their parents. Small giveaways and snacks were provided for the children.
  • 2 respondents had CKD, 1 had eczema, and 1 had UC
  • One of the speakers went through CKD education
  • Finding the right doctor, having to miss things, and waiting a long time for the right diagnosis were three of the most common healthcare barriers chosen from the survey.
  • A majority of the respondents also noted that they were familiar with clinical research, but had not presented with the opportunity.
