In the midst of Houston’s health crisis, experts, city officials, and families in Houston’s Greater Fifth Ward speak out on decades of contamination exposure and the cancer cluster plaguing the community they call home.
Through this documentary, we aim to shed light on the health and environmental injustices faced by Houston’s 5th Ward residents, while celebrating their resilience in the face of challenges like cancer clusters. Our goal is to amplify their voices and advocate for systemic change, much like the work of NOWINCLUDED, championing equitable healthcare access for Black and underserved communities.
