In honor of their 113th founder’s day, we’re partnering with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated chapters across the country to encourage Black men, who are impacted the most by lung cancer, to get screened and stay informed.
Black men are
11% more likely to be diagnosed
with lung cancer than their white counterparts.
Black Americans with lung cancer are less likely to be diagnosed at an early stage, less likely to receive surgical treatment, and less likely to receive any treatment at all compared to white Americans.
TAKE THE PLEDGE TODAY
Pledge today to get screened for lung cancer. Whether that be on National Lung Cancer Screening day on 11/9, or another day, take action for your lung health. Pledge for yourself, or on behalf of a loved one.
For every 100 pledges, we will donate $50 to a participating chapter.
HOW TO GET SCREENED
Saturday, November 9th 2024 is National Lung Cancer Screening Day. Screening facilities across the country are opening their doors up for screening.
The fight to change these lung cancer numbers doesn’t end here. Join our cancer circle today to be a part of a community fighting against lung cancer and every cancer disproportionately impacting our community. You’ll receive information about lung cancer prevention, screening, and treatment opportunities, while hearing from others on their journey.
