Kimberly Hooks is a resilient leader and based in Atlanta who has turned her personal journey with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) into a platform for advocacy and empowerment. By openly sharing the realities of living with a chronic, often “invisible” illness, she works to strip away the stigma that frequently prevents individuals in the Black community from seeking early diagnosis and support.
