From the Frontlines: Serving Calhoun County Through the Pandemic

I am a Community Health Worker for Calhoun County, AL.  I have very much enjoyed working during the Covid crisis.  I love helping people and welcomed the opportunity to make a difference in my community.  In the beginning of the crisis, people were eager to get tested and I was able to set up a few very productive test sites, but now that things have slowed down, and Covid fatigue has set in, I have a lot of difficulty in setting up testing events.  People are ready to move on and not talk about Covid. I am eager for another health initiative to come available.
