Living with AL amyloidosis: Belinda shares her story

Belinda is a woman of color diagnosed with AL amyloidosis. AL amyloidosis is a rare and life-threatening condition in which plasma cells within the body’s immune system create abnormal proteins that build up in organs and tissues, causing them to malfunction.

While Belinda’s journey with amyloidosis has been difficult, she remains positive and hopeful for the future. She encourages others facing similar challenges to stay strong and seek support from loved ones. By sharing her story and raising awareness about AL amyloidosis, Belinda is making a difference in the lives of others and helping to bring hope to those affected by this rare and often misunderstood disease.
